Problem: Goods are not in the correct place<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Impact:<\/b> This is a minimally efficient process that wastes time and resources, making the completion of orders more laborious than necessary.<\/span><\/p>\n

Solution:<\/b> The reason why picking is often done one order at a time is because the process is done on paper documents; by integrating an automated workflow, orders can be processed multiple times and therefore more efficiently.<\/span><\/p>\n

Problem: you rely on the operators\u2019 memory to know where the goods are located<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Impact: <\/b>Operators need to be trained on the structure of the warehouse and in peak demand this is not sustainable; moreover, the risk of human error is higher and the costs in terms of time and money outweigh the benefits.<\/span><\/p>\n

Solution: <\/b>thanks to the use of a management system, picking process is simplified because goods have a code that allows their position to be immediately identified, without having to rely on the staff memory; in this way even those who work only for a short period of time in the warehouse are immediately operative.<\/span><\/p>\n
