The Supreme Council for Public Works is concluding the implementation circular on\u00a0Technical Standards for Constructions<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The work of the technical round tables covering the geological and geotechnical aspects of the standard has been completed – the results will formulate the proposal which the General Assembly of the Council will examine by the end of July, in order to issue the final document by autumn.<\/p>\n

Among the new aspects is the introduction of\u00a0Building Documentation<\/b>\u00a0among the main tools for monitoring areas – the idea is to\u00a0make the completion of building documentation compulsory<\/b>\u00a0from the outset in the following three cases:<\/p>\n

– new constructions;
\n– special maintenance on existing buildings;
\n– buildings used for public services and schools (class 3 and class 4 works).<\/p>\n

Obviously the\u00a0anti-earthquake standards<\/b>\u00a0also apply to\u00a0archives, warehouses and industrial premises<\/b>.<\/p>\n
