Shelving? It’s ”work equipment” and should be treated as such

Did you know that the shelving units in your warehouse – whether heavy or light – are not “simply” objects on which to stack weights and products, but actual “work equipment“, which is regulated by Legislative Decree 81/2008?

This is why, according to European and national standards, they are subject to laws and constraints that will minimise the risks and consequences of unsafe operations.

And it is also why, when designing or modifying them, it is essential to refer to the specific regulations.

It is therefore prohibited to improvise with this type of work: the financial, civil and penal consequences can be very serious.
